Quick Start

git clone https://github.com/nicholasgriffintn/rag-starter-kit.git my-rag-app
cd my-rag-app
bun install

cp .env.example .env

Open .env and fill in these four required values:

npx prisma db push

This creates all tables and enables the pgvector extension.

bun dev

Open http://localhost:7392 and create an account.

After onboarding, you land in the chat interface. Click the upload button in the sidebar to add a PDF, DOCX, or TXT file. Once ingested (usually 10-30 seconds), ask questions about your document.
